I have an idea for reporting but it’d be interesting to see other firms feedback on it. I thought it’d be great if we can create dynamic sub reports that only appear in a statement based upon rules. For instance, if you have a Management Style that is an income strategy, you could set an Income SubReport to appear anytime an account has that Management Style assigned to it. Thus, you can build one report but allow it to adjust based upon what strategies the client is invested in.

    Thoughts? Ideas?

Sounds like a great idea to me. One that pops to mind is only include Fixed Income section if the account indeed holds Fixed Income securities, etc.

What report do I use to pull what the unrealized gain is for all of my clients taxable accounts? How do I do this?

    Thank you
