The two apps that I consider critical to an advisor’s success in Orion are the Portfolio Audit app and the Ascent app.
Portfolio Audit – This app allows you to access a wealth of information and make key changes to your clients accounts and information in the system. Nearly everything in this app impacts other areas of Orion Connect and pulls directly into your reports. You can view and edit transactions, cancel accounts, edit all household/registration/account information, and even navigate to other apps directly from your choices. It is really a one stop shop for the majority of your account needs.
Ascent – There is a lot I could say about how great the training within this app is and how beneficial it is to have members of your team go through the courses. To condense the app to its most basic, if you do not go through the training in the Ascent app; you will be lost within Orion connect. We have seen real benefits from this app as advisors have started to use it and the effectiveness of an advisor can often be directly tied to how much of the Ascent program they have completed. Make sure to sign up and go through the training in this app.
