Hearty second to the need for an annual income number on an Insight panel.
On customizing Insight, I think I heard Orion will roll out the new reporting functionality this fall and then port it to Insight and Client Portal next summer/fall.

When we use a custodian for which there is no direct feed of cost basis. ByAllAccounts does not seem to be able to get cost basis info.

We customize them. The equity asset category asset classes are based on GICS, with additions for unclassified equities. The bonds asset category asset classes are based on issuer type (e.g., govt, corp, agency, tax-exempt muni, taxable muni).

We use the risk categories for the Morningstar Style Box assignments (eg: us large cap, emerging non-us)

We don’t have accounts at TD, but we have successfully linked our Google For Work email/calendar/contacts with Salesforce:

We put the Orion Account ID at the beginning of the ByAll account identifier, then a space and a dash and then something descriptive. Then we can tell Orion to link and look for the account id as a guide. It seems to work fine.

For us the contributions and withdrawals should not be netted but shown separately. It helps the client see why the ending market value is less than (or greater than) the number implied by the TWR.
